In meinem persönlichen Langzeitprojekt „looking up“ fotografiere ich reale Innenräume und Deckenansichten kultureller, historischer, öffentlicher und kommerzieller Gebäude. Mein Fokus liegt auf der Auflösung der Architektur zu neuen geometrischen Flächen, Formen und Bildern, die zu einer Interpretation der Architektur führen. Dabei bilde ich nicht bloß die vorhandene Raumkonstellation ab, sondern erschaffe dabei neue und autonome Raumkompositionen. Neben der Schönheit und Dimension der Architektur interessieren mich insbesondere, wie Baukunst und Pracht in ihrer Ausstrahlung und symbolischer Bedeutung zusammenhängen.

In my personal long-term project „looking up“, I photograph interiors and ceiling views of cultural, historical, public and commercial buildings. 
My focus is on the dissolution of the architecture into new geometric surfaces, forms and images that lead to interpretation of the architecture. In doing so, I do not merely depict the existing spatial constellation, but create new and autonomous spatial compositions. In addition to the beauty and dimension of architecture, I am particularly interested in how architecture and splendor are connected in their charisma and symbolic meaning
